Our inner struggles are the doorway

Our Inner Struggles are the doorway; they challenge us to confront what deeply desires our attention. Our Inner Struggles want to be heard and met.
Recently, someone experiencing a deep Spiritual Crisis asked me how I survived my own Spiritual Crisis, how I moved beyond the excruciating pain that can arise from Waking Up. I answered that I somehow found the courage to meet the pain, to connect deeply to the parts of myself that seemed to be open to feeling into this pain, just as I would listen to a friend who needed support.
As much as Spiritual Emergence is painful and many parts of ourselves wish to go back to a time when we felt 'normal,' there is a blessing in Waking Up. Yes, it seems few in far between, the realities of consciousness waking up through your body, through your individual nature. It can be an isolating journey. Our friends and family may not understand deep shifts in identity, deep shifts into Silence and Stillness and yet as challenging as it us we are here to evolve, we are here to Wake Up and Embody Stillness, Embody Truth.
You are the Presence that this wild world desires. Have gentleness towards the enormity of the pain you are experiencing. I am here to let you know that most of my life I wanted out, this human experience coupled with a deep existential crisis was all too much. I did not have hope that a life worth living was possible.
This seeming curse if the deep work is done, has to become a blessing. Yes, unfortunately the 'Spiritual/ non-dual world' lacks the resources of the integration of our human experience; the integration of our human trials and traumas, with the stillness that arises from experience itself.
I am here to tell you that there is a life beyond the struggle, there's a life that's not only worth living, but a life in which Stillness and Presence are the foundation of our  experience because the deep inner work has been done and our deep burdens have been met with nurturance and care. I used to think this path was not meant for the weak at heart, but it may just be for those who have the courage to ask those weaknesses to step aside in order to dive deep. I welcome you to take this dive. I am here to support you.
